Terms and Conditions

All orders must be written in LUMCA's name.

All payment terms are net 30 days following the date of invoice.

Written quotations are valid for a period of 30 days. Lumca reserves the right to withdraw any quotation prior to its formal acceptance. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Prices are F.O.B. shipping point. Orders below the minimum shipment value of $5,000.00 D.N.T.N.I.P. will be shipped collect or when specified, prepaid and charged. Selection of routing and mode of transportation will be determined by Lumca, unless otherwise specified and requested by the purchaser, in which case the purchaser assumes any or all additional charges. Shipments above 5,000.00$ are prepaid to the nearest urban centre on the North American main land. Any additional transportation charges are to the purchaser's expense.

Damage to, or loss of any goods in transit must be noted on the carrier's delivery freight bill. The purchaser must inspect the merchandise upon delivery and report any apparent error or defect within 10 days of delivery. Should the purchaser fail to do so, all parties will conclude that the merchandise has been delivered in accordance with the contract.

Shipment must be unloaded promptly as Lumca will not pay demurrage.

A minimum billing of $350.00 D.N T.N.I.P. will apply except for replacement parts.

No order may be cancelled without prior written consent, or without payment for work performed and expenses incurred.

Orders requested for delivery within a 6 month period will have price protection for that period only.

All delivery information provided at time of quotation are lead times only. Actual deliveries are subject to conditions prevailing at time of order placement or receipt of approval and releases.

All requests for the return of merchandise must be made within 3 months of the date of invoice. No material will be accepted for return unless accompanied by a return goods authorization number issued by a Lumca representative. A restocking charge of 30% covering all costs, including two-way freight, will apply to all returns.

All customised products are non-returnable.
